Today I speak to Dana Kaplan, owner and creator of DEED, a program that ensures everyone has a space to expand beyond barriers with confidence and clarity necessary to achieve and master highly effective communication, critical thinking and owners of their personal learning expedition. Dana is passionate about teaching, knew at a very young age this is what she wanted to do. Dana gives the space for social-emotional awareness.
From a young age we learn to not speak out or about what is bothering us, what makes us uncomfortable and that follows us to our adult years as well, lets listen, really listen to our kids and give them that space to feel like they are heard. Dana teaches this to not just children, but adults as well. We talk about effective communication and learning its ok to have a voice, and to use that voice. Its powerful

We as adults so often hear people tell us to believe in ourselves, but how many of us really do? Facing fears and self acceptance starts at childhood, But, it is not too late to change, never too late. I can still change with my grown kids, you can too.
